Pakistan Council of Journalists

Journalists are the most victimized segment of society who always live on the mercy of the media tycoons. Though exceptions are always there as some journalists are well settled, but a majority of them lives in miserable conditions. In office they are underpaid and understaffed and at home, they are unable to maintain their dignity and quality of life. No health-care, no good schooling for children and no adequate food. The media barns hold their salaries for months. This forum provides them a voice. I request to all my journalist colleagues to join this forum and speak out their problems. You don’t have to fear your employers. Just pinpoint problems and I will publish them in my name. 

پاکستان میں دو طرح کے صحافی ہیں۔ بلکہ دو انتہائیں ہیں۔ ایک وہ جو شہرت اورپیسے کےلحاظ سے انتہائی کامیاب ہیں اور   دوسرےوہ جو کسمپرسی کی زندگی گزاررہے ہیں ۔ بلکہ وہ اپنا وقار بھی مشکل سے برقرار رکھ پاتے ہیں۔  اخباری مالکان تنخواہیں نہ دینے کے عادی ہوگئے ہیں۔ نہ انہیں خدا کا ڈر ہے اور نہ قانون کا۔ بلکہ قانون تو موم کی ناک ہے   ان کے لئے۔          رپورٹرز کی جان خطرے میں رہیتی ہے اور سب ایڈیٹرز زندگی کا یشتر حصہ نائٹ شفٹ میں گزاردیتے ہیں
